Business Awards
The LSC South East Learning and Skills Awards 2007 were run by Priory on behalf of The Learning and Skills Council, the regional arm of the national body concerned with the planning, funding and quality assuring of all post-16 education outside Higher Education in England.
Their aim is “to provide people who live or work in the South East of England with high quality learning opportunities which help them play a full part in their community, maximise their potential and further strengthen the local economy.”
The awards recognised the value and benefits of learning by all, and showcased the benefits of this to individuals, employers and ultimately highlighted the contribution this effort makes to the overall economy of the region.
The audience included finalists, parents, teachers, learning providers, members of the Connexions service, employers, local authorities, voluntary and community organisations, LSC senior staff and Council members.
The award ceremony encompassed the whole South East region and was a landmark event for all who took part.
